Treetops Resort – Grill on the Hill

Warmer weather and sunshine mean barbecue season is approaching, and Treetops Resort in Gaylord is celebrating with its 4th annual Grill on the Hill event, taking place on Saturday May 14th. You are invited to help test a delicious barbecue and select the winner. of the People’s Choice Award in this friendly competition. The event will also include celebrity chef demonstrations, beer tents from local breweries, live entertainment and vendor booths showcasing great barbecue accessories, sauces and more. Spring Art MarketDennos Museum Center – Spring Art Market

Head to Traverse City on Saturday, May 14 for the Spring Art Market at Dennos Museum Center, where you can enjoy free admission and special programs throughout the day! Over 20 talented artists will be selling their works in media such as pottery, jewelry, print, paint, glass, and more. Visitors will be able to view sculptures by current exhibiting artist, NATALIE MIEBACH, as well as her playful series of colorful woven paper lamps. The day will also include live art demonstrations, an art demonstration and children’s activities, as well as a tour of the center with the director.
