LA CROSSE (WKBT) — A cafe in downtown La Crosse will host a twice-monthly art market featuring local artists.
Grounded Patio Café has announced that it will be hosting events on the first and third Thursdays of the month from June through September. Artists from the region will be able to book a time with Grounded staff, and exhibit their work on these days from 4-7pm. Reservations require a $10 refundable deposit.
“We are very happy and excited to share that this exciting event will return with even more opportunities to showcase the work of local talent!” said deputy director Mikaela Gerrish.
If interested in participating, artists will be required to provide all display elements, signage and any additional information about the artwork, as well as how to be contacted for inquiries and alternative payment options such as than Venmo, added Gerrish. Artists will also be responsible for providing their own change for cash purchases.
